FAQs

What kind of appointment can I book?

Both virtual and in-person sessions are available. In certain situations, a home visit may be possible. Rachel is available for one-time psychosocial and mental health assessments, as well as longer-term courses of therapy.  We'll make every effort to ensure that therapy is as convenient as possible for you; attending sessions does not have to be an added stressor.

What if I have to cancel my appointment?

We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel an appointment, please make every effort to let us know as soon as possible. You will not be charged for a cancelled appointment unless we give you prior notice.

Do you accept insurance?

We can provide appropriate paperwork to clients wishing to seek out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance. Please contact your insurance company to verify their reimbursement policies. For privacy reasons, many people prefer not to use insurance for therapy fees. Please contact us for accurate and up-to-date fee information.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash or personal checks. Typically, payment is due at the time of each session. Please feel free to ask about alternative payment arrangements.
